From Kimble Release 1.22, Kimble transitioned to using Kimble Permission Sets instead of Salesforce Profiles for granting access to the application functionality. To ease the administration and assignment of these permission sets, Kimble wrapped them in a container which we call Application Roles.
In this 30-minute webinar, we:
- look at Application Roles to see how they represent a combination of permission sets which, when combined together, provide the desired level of access to Kimble
- apply Application Roles to users
- look at functional Permission Sets, which control access to specific functionality in Kimble
- highlight the advantages of shifting Kimble access from Profiles to Kimble Permission Sets
